Saints of the Living God, GREETINGS!

It is another week, and we thank and rejoice in the Living God, our Heavenly Father, through the Lord Jesus Christ, for His provision, love, care, and his indwelling peace in us by the Divine Person of the Holy Spirit.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, we thank you for another week of divine health, divine peace, divine provision and divine wisdom and revelation of God, the Father of spirits. We come today, this very hour, in our own accord, to feed our born-again spirit-beings with the rich nutrient of God’s Holy Word. We agree that your Word is the truth. We trust the Holy Spirit to bring the light of God’s Word into our minds and the direction of that Word into our spirits. We trust you, the Lord Jesus Christ, that we will be doers of your Word and not hearers, readers or speakers only. In Jesus Name. Amen

 

 

Theme/Subject:  Wisdom 3

In series 1 & 2, we learned that wisdom is the ability to use knowledge. Wisdom is not natural but wisdom is spiritual. For us, sons and daughters of the Living God, Christ Jesus is our WISDOM (see 1 Corinthians 1 v 30). He is the wisdom that came from above. This is the wisdom of the Father of spirits. This wisdom is the ability to use knowledge for the benefit of others and oneself. This wisdom springs out of Agape love, the nature of the Living God.

There are two kinds of knowledge. Spiritual or revelation knowledge and natural knowledge. The natural knowledge is gained through the processes or activities of the five senses – what we see, what we smell, what we feel, what we hear and what we taste. This is the basis for our natural education system. The human brain relies on the interpretations of the activities of these five senses in order to function. The absence of or the malfunctioning of these five senses renders the human brain useless. Without these five senses, the human brain is incapable of functioning. The human brain is as good and relevant so far as the five senses are functioning to their capacity. The five senses are limited.

Limited in as far as what we can see. The natural eyes cannot see spiritual realities. Limited in as far what we can smell. Limited in as far as what we can feel.  Limited in as far as what we can hear. And limited in as far as what we can taste. Not only that but the five senses can fail us. Many have lost their natural ability to see. Many have lost their natural ability to smell. Many have lost their natural ability to feel. Many have lost their natural ability to hear. And many have lost their natural ability to taste. If you are reading or listening to this teaching and one or more of these five senses have failed, you then in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ I pray that they are restored. Say Amen! The failure of one or more of the five senses of a person who relies solely on the five senses limits his or her natural knowledge and that will in no doubt impact his or her ability to help others and him/herself naturally.

Before Adam and Eve committed the high treason; their spirits were very good guide. Meaning, they depended on the direction of their spirits to enjoy and experience their environment and never on their senses. This is because before they committed the high reason, they had yielded their spirits to long for the Word of God and to fellowship with Him. And the fact that they decided to disobey their Creator is a testament that they had their own will either to yield to their Creator or not. They could make their own free independent choice. But any choice a person makes outside yielding wholeheartedly his or her spirit to the Father of spirits today in Christ Jesus leads to death, spiritually and naturally. As soon as Adam and Eve disobeyed their Creator, they not only died spiritually but how they use to access and enjoy their natural environment was also impacted. In that, in disobedience, Adam and Eve are now solely relying on their five senses to access and enjoy their environment. Adam and Eve while they yielded their spirits in subjection to God’s Word, allowed the Creator to guide them by their spirits. He communicated to them not through their senses but through their spirits. For the Living God is a Divine Spirit (see John 4 v 23-24, Proverbs 20 v 27, 2 Corinthians 5 v 16). Today, God’s children are not led by their senses but they are led by the Holy Spirit (see Romans 8 v 14). The guidance of the five senses effectively replaced the guidance of the Creator through the human spirit wholeheartedly yields to Him. Please pause and reflect!

 

The spiritual or the revelation knowledge is derived from God the Creator or from Satan, the Counterfeiter. This knowledge is not taught in our natural educational institutions through the five senses but it is given and it is received supernaturally.

God, our Father is by nature love, Agape (see 1John 4 v 8 & 16). Out of this nature, the Father gave birth to us in Christ Jesus, our Lord! The child of the Living God is not only born of love, Agape, but he or she has eternal life, the life of God imparted to his or her spirit. According to the Holy Written Word of God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, our Father is a Divine Spirit and guides and leads His children not through their senses but through their spirits. Romans 8 v 14 reads “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons or daughters of God.” The Father of spirits leads His children through their spirits not through their senses. For God is not a sense but God is a Divine Spirit. Proverbs 20 v 27 reads “The spirit of a man (a person) is the lamp of the LORD, searching all the inner depths of his or her heart.” The Holy Written Word of God uses the ‘heart’ to denotes the human spirits generally. We also noted in John 4 v 23 that the Father of spirits seeks true worshippers who will worship Him in spirit and in truth. All these explains why in the Father’s plan of redemption for mankind through Christ Jesus; He gave birth to spirit of a person who confesses Jesus Lord and believes with his or her spirit that the Father has raised Him from the dead. The new creation person as a result of this birth accesses and enjoys his new environments (the kingdom of God in Christ) filled with all the attributes or the characteristics of the heavenly Father through his or her spirit first and they are manifested into the natural. The new creation person lives from the Inside Out from his or her spirit. The knowledge that this new creation receives does not derive from the five senses but from the Word of God which is spirit and it is life. Our dear brother and apostle Paul, explained that the gospel of Christ that he received was by the revelation from the Lord Jesus Christ and that he did not receive the gospel of Christ from man or taught it to him by man through the senses (see Galatians 1 v 11-12). Also, one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is the Word of knowledge (see 1 Corinthians 12 v 7-11). This word of knowledge given by the Holy Spirit does not derive from the senses but it is a supernatural knowledge given to the new creation by the Holy Spirit. For example, I remember more than ten years ago, I was driving on M1, in the UK. For those of you who are not familiar with things of the UK, M1 is Motorway 1 equivalent to highways in other countries. I was driving on M1 heading for work and I was praying with my spirit (praying in tongues) whilst driving. Suddenly, the Holy Spirit said to me, find a safe place to park and to contact a lady who at the time we were attending the same church together. The message was – “Tell this lady, He mentioned her name that I love her very much.” I found a safe place to park and I contacted this lady by phone because I have her number on my phone and I still have it today. I called her. She answered and I said to her – “the Holy Spirit has asked me to tell you that God, your heavenly Father loves you very much.” She burst into tears of joy on the phone upon hearing the message and I asked her why? She said to me after calming herself down. She said I am on my knees praying to God and I reminded Him of the challenges that is going on in my life and I said to Him in prayer – “If you really love and you are there for me as your Word said you are; then I need you to show me a sign to prove it.” Then you called immediately to tell me that He has asked you to tell me that He loves me very much. The point I like to bring out of this is that the message I received was a Word of knowledge given by the Holy Spirit.

Where I was and where this lady was praying, in her home; my five senses could not have given me knowledge/message but it could only be given supernaturally by the Holy Spirit. He knew what this lady said in her prayer, I did not. In the first place, as daughter of the Living she ought to have believed and trust what the Word of God says. That her heavenly Father truly loves her and He will never leave her and forsake her regardless of the storms or challenges that was raging around her at time. In spite of her unbelief the Father still reached out to her with mercy by bring to her His Word of comfort and life. The wisdom of God uses both the revelation knowledge and the natural knowledge by the senses to benefit others and oneself today. But the natural man does not have the revelation knowledge of God so he or she relies solely on the natural knowledge which is limited and can fail. The Holy Written Word of God contains the revelation knowledge and it gives wisdom to the simple. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. Meaning if a person yields wholeheartedly to God’s Word, he or she walks by wisdom. Wisdom is not knowledge. Wisdom is the ability to use knowledge.

In our world today, there is no shortage of knowledge – revelation knowledge nor natural knowledge! But there is a shortage of wisdom to use the knowledge that is so abundant in our dispensation to benefit others and oneself. For a example, here is a medical doctor, based on his or her knowledge about the effects of tobacco, he or she advises his or her patients to avoid use of tobacco. Yet right after he or she gives this advises to the patient, he or she goes outside or the smoking shelter to smoke tobacco. Even though this doctor has full knowledge of the effect of tobacco yet he or she does not have the wisdom to use that same knowledge to benefit himself and others. Wisdom is not natural but wisdom is spiritual. The whole world is what it is today because we have men and women in leadership positions with full of knowledge but they do not have the wisdom to use the knowledge for good. Knowledge is important but wisdom is supreme. In all your doing seek wisdom. Christ Jesus is our WISDOM – our DIVINE ABILITY!
