Wisdom!

Saints of the Living God, GREETINGS!
It is another week, and we thank and rejoice in the Living God, our Heavenly Father, through the Lord Jesus Christ, for His provision, love, care, and his indwelling peace in us by the Divine Person of the Holy Spirit.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, we thank you for another week of divine health, divine peace, divine provision and divine wisdom and revelation of God, the Father of spirits. We come today, this very hour, in our own accord, to feed our born-again spirit-beings with the rich nutrient of God’s Holy Word. We agree that your Word is the truth. We trust the Holy Spirit to bring the light of God’s Word into our minds and the direction of that Word into our spirits. We trust you, the Lord Jesus Christ, that we will be doers of your Word and not hearers, readers or speakers only. In Jesus Name. Amen
 
 
 
Theme/Subject:  Wisdom
The fall of man (Adam, human race) in the garden of Eden brought with it death and sin nature which produces sins. But the New Creation, through Christ Jesus, brought to human race – love (Agape) and life, the life of God (Zoe). Jesus said “I come that you might have life and have this life more abundantly (see John 10 v 10).”  In Him, in Christ, was life and the life was the light of men (see John 1 v 4). Hope centred in Christ, does not make us ashamed or disappoint, because the love of God (Agape) has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us (see Romans 5 v 5). Wisdom, that is, wisdom that comes down or descend from above is the love child of love, Agape! Love gives birth wisdom that comes from above. Today, we that are new creation, Christ Jesus is our WISDOM (see 1 Corinthians 1 v 30). He is from above (see John 8 v 23). Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights…., (see James 1 v 17).
Wisdom that is from above comes down from the Father of lights and it is good and perfect. This wisdom brings the best and not the worst.
This wisdom our divine ability that removes bitterness, envy and self-seeking or selfishness (see James 3 v 13-15).  Therefore, the wisdom that is from above is the ability to use knowledge (revealed knowledge or natural knowledge) for the benefit of the other person or for the benefit of oneself. Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him or her show by good conduct that his or her works are done in meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts (in your spirits), do not boast and lie against the truth or the reality (the Word of God). The wisdom, that harbours or breeds bitter envy and self-seeking is not of the Father of lights and is does not descend from above, but it is earthly, sensual, demonic (see James 3 v 14-15).
Note that wisdom is the ability to use knowledge. This knowledge can be a revealed knowledge of the Father of lights. It can be a revealed knowledge of the father of darkness, Satan. This knowledge can be earthly or natural knowledge. Take for example, our dear brother and apostle, Paul, who received revelation knowledge, the gospel from the Lord Jesus (see Galatians 1 v 11-12), and he used the wisdom or ability from above effectively to preach or proclaim this revealed knowledge for the benefit of us all and himself. For he knew that the gospel of Christ is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes or everyone who will act upon it. This is because in the gospel of Christ the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith (see Romans 1 v 16-17). The gospel of Christ has never revealed anyone’s short-fall, sin consciousness, shame, vulnerability, sickness and diseases but glory to the Living God, the gospel of Christ reveals the righteousness of God from faith to faith. As your faith matures upon the premise of your increasing knowledge of the gospel of Christ and your desire to practice the gospel; you grow in your understanding of your righteousness in Christ. That is your knowledge of your ability in Christ to stand in the presence of the Father of lights with no sense of guilt, shame, sin consciousness, low self-esteem and inferiority. Also, your ability in Christ to stand in the presence of Satan as Christ Jesus and never yield to his accusation and deception. For there is therefore no condemnation to those that are in Christ Jesus (see Romans 8 v 1).
We also came across Saul of Tarsus who later received Christ Jesus and became a new creation and changed his name to Paul. Saul of Tarsus in his prime, received earthly knowledge (i.e. religion and traditions of his fathers - Judaism) outside the realm of love, Agape and he used the wisdom or the ability that was earthly, sensual and demonic to bring the worse of others and himself. For you have heard of my former conduct in Judaism, apostle Paul, explains; how I persecuted the church of God (the saints, the new creation folks) beyond measure and tried to destroy it. In other words, how I used the earthly wisdom, the sense wisdom, the demonic wisdom to persecute others, typically, the saints! Therefore, the wisdom that is earthly, that is sensual and that is demonic is the ability to use knowledge (revealed Knowledge or natural knowledge) to bring the worse to others or oneself. This wisdom is of Satan! For Satan is destruction. He comes to steal, to kill and to destroy (see John 10 v 10). Satan still possesses this wisdom but his wisdom or ability always brings the worse to other people or out of other people. Today, this type of wisdom from Satan is operating right in front of our eyes in the so called Christian Zionists to whom the persecution of others or bringing the worse out of others or bringing destruction of others is their main reason for living. Saul of Tarsus was a Zionists but when He encountered Christ Jesus and acted upon His Word, he became a love child and Christ became his wisdom, his ability and instead of bringing worse to others or out of others; he instead brought the gospel of Christ which reveals the righteousness of God through love, Agape! We pray to the Lord of the Harvest to send labourers to the so-called Christian Zionists to bring Christ Jesus, the wisdom of God to their paths. And we pray in the Name of Jesus that when that happens; they would accept Christ Jesus as their Lord and Saviour – the paths of love and the life of God! The Way of Christ!
According to 1 Corinthians 1 v 30, Christ Jesus is our WISDOM. To the maturing son or daughter of the Living God; he or she knows that Christ Jesus is indeed his or her wisdom or ability to use knowledge for the benefit others and him/herself. This child of God acts upon that word of God that says Christ is his or her wisdom and he or she does not need to ask God again for something that is his or hers in Christ. He or she just goes ahead and use this wisdom and give thanks to the Father in the Name of Jesus whilst using it. Every new creation has the wisdom of God. However, the carnal Christian or the babe in Christ due to their immaturity as a result of several factors i.e. unwillingness to feed upon the Word of God, unwillingness to pray, to fast, to edify, to surrender the dictates of the flesh and so on. This carnal Christian, although, the Word of God clearly says that Christ is his or her wisdom but he or she does not act on the Word but he or she waits for others to instruct him or her to ask God for something that God’s Word says he or she already possess (see James 1 v 5).  
This was the very type of Christians James wrote his letter to and asked them to ask God for wisdom.
But Brothers and sisters of the Living God! Saints of the Living God, it thrills me to proclaim to you today that Christ Jesus is your WISDOM. Your divine ABILITY to utilise knowledge for the benefit of others and yourself.
In our world today, there is no shortage of knowledge – either revealed knowledge or natural knowledge. The natural knowledge is gain through the processes of the five senses – what we see, what we smell, what we feel, what we hear and what we taste. The revealed knowledge is divine or spiritual and it is either from the Father of spirits or from Satan. There is no shortage of knowledge in our dispensation but there is shortage of wisdom of God to utilise knowledge for the betterment or best others. There is a shortage of true worshippers or labourers to preach the real gospel of Christ to bring the best to others. Our best that we bring is Christ Jesus, our ability!  Would you allow yourself today to fill this shortage?
